Toilet block renovation
Project U-bend a go-go!
Thanks to our generous funders, Tang Hall Big Local, Heworth Ward, Hull Road Ward, The Feoffees of St Michaels Spurriergate York and the Coop, Tang Hall Community Centre is getting a brand new toilet block!
We are long overdue on a renovation of our facilities and we will be getting an accessible changing space with a shower and a new office, too (so we will be looking for a new tenant – get in touch!). We hope that the new changing facilities will encourage more people with physical disabilities to participate in our services and enable people to join in more sports activities. The new office space will allow us to provide more services to the local community.
The work starts on Monday 12th March and it will take 10 weeks. In the meantime, we will have top notch portaloos outside.
Can’t wait to have a grand opening of the block – are there any local celebrities who want to come and cut the cheese ribbon?
