York Neighbours is a charity working to reduce social isolation and promote independence for those aged over 65 in the City of York area. York Neighbours offers fortnightly or monthly calls, trips out and help with one off jobs. We are running a project to recruit new volunteers and users of our service (neighbours) from the Tang Hall area. Anyone aged over 18 can apply to volunteer and we require no minimum time commitment.
